Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
Same, I truly expected names to be released.
ESPN radio had an interesting topic yesterday, when the names are released, does Barry Bonds get more of a pass for his past? Since he's now not alone per say? Not that I agree with it, but I had a long drive and it was an intersting discussion. LOLComment

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
The way I see it, before it was clear he used steroids Bonds was already a HOF player. That alone should get him his pass, but I would say when we find out some of the names on this list that he should get a bit more of a pass.Comment

None of them get passes, Bonds included.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
Bonds has taken the majority of the abuse over the years for the roids. Is he still the poster child for roids and the brunt of the abuse, or does he fall into the rest of the pack with the rest of the roid users released today.Comment

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
I think this list will vindicate Barry Bonds in a lot of ways, showing that he was not the only high profile player to use.Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
I agree. And I'm a Yankee fan. Furthermore now that we know pitchers were using the juice how the hell do people expect hitters to do their job unless some of them have the juice. They should just drop the whole thing. How about getting some hard drugs off the street.Comment

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
I think the report will take some of the heat off of the big names (Bonds, McGwire, and now Clemens). Obviously, this was a pretty widespread problem before baseball finally instituted their steriod policy. It'll be hard to say who was truely clean and for how long during the "steroid era".XBL: Mean Greene

Absolutely. This guy has been praised for his workout ethic to stay healthy and continue pitching well in his 40's. I wonder if he was juicing as far back as his Red Sox days.Comment

I was being sarcastic and I completely agree with you on the rules part of this argument.Comment

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names
The problem here is that if the elite players are juicing, the ones who are already good, what message does that send to Joe Blow, the guy who's just barely hanging onto his MLB career? He's not trying to set HR records, he's trying to maintain his livelihood and if he knows guys like Bonds and Clemens are juicing, he's going to juice too in order to be able to compete with them. It's a top to bottom problem, like Mitchell is saying....Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.
