Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names

As a father and a baseball coach, its gonna be hard dealing with my son as he sees his favorite players on this list. Roger Clemens(just bought the boy his texas college jersey,) and Albert Pujols. it was bad ebough dealing with Mike Vick explanations.

No way no how. It'll survive and move on. There might be a drop for a year or two in interest, but eventually it will rise to new heights.

It was the sudden change in production in Ortiz for me. He went from being a scrub with the Twins to a star in Boston. Sure it could be wrong, but I don't think so.

To me for Manny it is his body development over the years.

The biggest impact this report will have on the game is to highlight A-Rod's unbelievable accomplishments if he's not on the list.

It seems many of A-Rod's peers the last 10 years have produced big numbers while on the juice. If A-Rod put up his incredible numbers with just his God-given ability and hard work, that makes his performance even more remarkable.

But who knows? Maybe he will end up on the list. We'll see at 2 p.m.

Please. This will be forgotten by Christmas.

As I said in my earlier post in this thread, all that people in the game and its fans will care about by New Year's is when pitchers and catchers report for spring training.

The drug culture in baseball has been tacitly acknowledged and tolerated for the last 10 years. What makes you think that Bud Selig playing Pontius Pilate by washing his hands of this tawdry affair through the release of the Mitchell Report is going to change a damn thing?

The list will be forgotten but You will remember it everytime your ON THE LIST favorite player hits a Home Run. And you wont enjoy it as much as you did before.

Strip the Yankees of every WS they won in the late 90s.

Why now? You think these guys are still juicing, especially now that MLB is testing, even as toothless as the tests and penalties might be?

I don't think anyone is that stupid. I would guess that 99 percent of the guys on this list are clean now. I sure as hell hope so.

Or at least have moved on to HGH which can't be found in urine test as of yet.

I agree. Hopefully this will put an end to this, and we can truly begin a new 'clean' era of baseball. Something fans will be proud of.

                          Exactly.

Me, personally...I'm already over this. We all know baseball was littered with HGHs and such.

If Pujols is on the list, his MVP award should be stripped and given to Andruw Jones.

I'm just happy no major current Indians are on the list yet. (Excluding Betancourt who had already been previously suspended)

For you guys near a TV, ESPN has begun their coverage early. They're on live with Bob Ley, Steve Phillips, Peter Gammons, Buster Olney, and Tim Kirkjan.
