Howard MVP 2006, Rollins MVP 2007, Utley NL MVP 2008

Mark my words...Chase Utley will be winning the MVP in 2008. That will be 3 years of Philly MVP's.

Three consecutive years of the wrong guy winning the MVP? Not even PK is argumentative enough to hold off that crap storm.

Utley is a beast. I can see him winning it.

And Rollins was an awful MVP.

        An awful MVP????

        What???

        200 hits, 100 + runs, 41 SB,

A 20 doubles, 20 homers, 20 triples, 20 stolen bases season by a Gold Glove SS, and you say he's an awful MVP???

Not to mention he is a gamer who played 162 games, and is a great great leader.

You must be a Jose Reyes fanboy.

Jimmy Rollins made more outs than any MVP in the history of the National League.

That's a tough one...And I'll venture to say you're an Indians fan...Well Indians fan what's the point of winning a playoff game if your up 3-1 and can't seal the deal. So you won 3 games, and then you lost big to the Red Sox.

Anyone facing the Rockies were going to lose. They were lights out. Once they went to the bullpen, and you didn't have a lead you were done. There bullpen was sick. Manny Corpas is the next Mariano Rivera. Maybe not, but he was sick for the Rockies.

Don't worry...The Phillies will be back in it in 08. We swept the Mets in virtually every series we played them. The Braves suck, the Marlins suck, and the Nationals... Ha...2008 NL East Champ Phillies!

We have probably the best infield in Major League Baseball. If we actually get a third baseman we will definitely have the best infield in the MLB.

Anyone from Quadruple A, uh I mean the National League, facing the Rockies was going to lose. Anybody from the American League would've beaten the Rox and their very shaky starting pitching.

Ah, but Snepp they fail to point out that Rollins also had the most ABs in history (or very close to it)

Anyways I don't think a Philly is going to win the MVP in '08 but I don't know who'd win it. Maybe Prince Fielder if he can get the Brew Crew to the playoffs?

They won three against the Yankees and three against the Red Sox. The Phillies haven't had a playoff win in what, 15 years?

So since you want to talk about history when was the last time Cleveland won World Series?

Ahh who am I kidding...the Phillies are the all-time losingest franchise in American sports history.

But who cares...if you look at our squad now they have more talent on that team then they've had 25-30 yrs. Evidenced by the last two NL MVP's. Maybe 2008 will be the year the Phillies win a World Series. Who knows.

I'm excited for the new baseball season. And I love having the best Second Baseman in the MLB on my team. I think he's gonna win the MVP this year. If he hadn't missed a month it might have been Utley instead of Rollins.

The Phillies would be lucky to be a third place team in the American League.

Actually, I have nothing against the Phillies or their fans. I'm not a big fan of Charlie Manual. He was a crappy manager with the Tribe and I'm amazed he has lasted as long as he has in Phily.
