wow, your e-muscles are so big. I'm still reeling from that e-knockout you think you delivered.

All I'm saying is I think it's a bad signing. I think I've made intelligible posts, and I think jdros made a nice counter-point. I cannot say the same for you.

Re: Pedro Feliz signs with the Phillies

No one is disputing that Feliz isn't a great offensive player....he isn't likely to be an improvement over the production they could have gotten out of a Helms / Dobbs platoon. He might wind up being slightly worse.

The team will be better however IMO because he is so vastly superior defensively...besides the fact the defense will be better, it will allow Dobbs to mainly serve in a PH role, to spell Burrell and Feliz with spot starts (I'm hoping they find someone to take Helms' contract) and alleviate the need to put someone on the roster specifically to come in after the 7th inning to play 3rd (like A. Nunez did all last year).

We all get it, Feliz isn't a great offensive player....he does hit 20+ HRs per year though and that is all we really need out of that spot.

Which could take a jump in CBP w/ that short LF fence. I think he has a breakout season offensively wise...Breakout in terms of better than his career numbers...not AROD breakout or something crazy like that.

                      I'd say .275/.280 avg., 26 HR's, and 91 RBIs, 25 doubles...Placing bets (j/k)...

Wow, didn't expect Punto to be that far down the list.

                          Couldn't resist could you?

It's a shame that he doesn't hit a few homeruns, would give me a way to rationalize his putridness.

It's a shame that you have to keep explaining your stance over and over again. It's like they are trying to make you think you are stupid.

Maybe these same people would like to sit through an entire season of Nunez/Helms/Dobbs at third.

Your homer eyes are on full blast lol. Feliz is not hitting anything above a .260 average.

The rest of the numbers, yeah I can see that.
