The XBOX looks like that same game at 1024X768, everything is less aliased, clearer, sharper, and much more lifelike and frankly if you dont see or notice this difference, you are either blind or a PS2 fanboy.

lol that "must be blind or a fanboy" crap reminds me of the old 3dfx vs. Nvidia flame wars.

Anyway, like I said before we have XBox, PS2 (& GCN for that matter) so I could care less about all of this console jingoism.

I am part of a family and the PS2 has higher availability and a better controller. So unless there is a MVP-specific reason to get the Xbox version of MVP 2003 (besides Xbox rulez) I am probably getting the PS2 version.

Well that was kind of a smart alleck reply.

Well bucko, you asked the question and we gave you an answer. If you dont like my "crap" answer, thats fine but it sounds to me like you had your mind made up anyway and were gonna get the PS2 version regardless of what we said. You asked for "XBOX specific" stuff and we told you it would look better, sound better, and run smoother. If that isnt good enough for you then fine, but dont go slamming me when all I did was tell you the truth. Next time if you dont like peoples opinions, dont ask the question.

        Have a good day.

I slammed you because your version of "the truth" is that "XBox looks way better that PS2 and if you disagree you are blind".

Sorry but that is fanboy logic. Our xbox is using composite input on an analog TV and our PS2 is using S-Video on an HDTV with a high quality line-doubler.

So guess what, EA sports games look *better* on the PS2 than they do on the xbox for me.

Now if EA actually added some extra content for Xbox MVP 2003 I would consider moving the xbox upstairs to the HDTV and using the component cable, but that would piss off my son big time and I am trying not to be selfish.

So yes, I have already decided on the PS2 version. I posted here to see if there was any xbox extras for MVP because that might change my mind.

But most of the replies have been of the fanboy nature that "xbox > ps2". And that was not my question. You have a good day yourself

Every EA game I have ever played always seemed to have extra sharp graphics on my XBOX over the PS2.....plus the addition of the HD drive makes this a no brainer...you can quickly save more stats....The Xbox version is the way to go.

SOrry bud but you must not know what "good looking" is. PS2 has so much aliasing, that regardless of the connection, its gonna be very jaggy. Now you can call it whatever you want, but the FACTS are and prove that the XBOX games look better, no ifs ands or buts. You accuse me of fanboyism, which is funny considering I own all 3 consoles. What I am, is a realist. I know what looks better and I have a job as a reviewer, and 20 years of gaming experience behind me. You knew what version you were gonna get anyway so its all irrelevant.

I know, I know. You already told me. I am blind.

BTW, trotting out the "resume" in a forum fight is usually a sign of desperation

Desperation? Or maybe its a way of validating my facts to you. May I remind you that YOU asked for advice. 90% of us have told you the superior version and WHY its the superior version, but you are still not happy. Next time, just go with whatever your hunch is, unless you actually want our advice. Sounds to me like you didnt get the answer you wanted to hear from us. If smoother gameplay, better graphics, the hard drive for saving, and less aliasing isnt enough to sway you, then by all means get the PS2 version. Hell, buy 2 copies!!!!!!!
