Re: MVP 2003 Review IGN Xbox
I'm still getting it. I get the impression that its going to be exactly what I thought---a very good compliment to one of the other baseball games. I will have fun with MVP and WSB for different reasons. Its kinda like getting Gran Turismo and Need for Speed."If y’all see me in the news, and I make the news for something that I ain’t got no business making it for, don’t bash me. Say it was a young guy living."

Re: MVP 2003 Review IGN Xbox
I'm still going with MVP....I've grown tired of the same ol same ol type of pitching and batting interface. Time for a change my friends. I'll give WSB a rent but it's a shame that the player models look nothing like themselves, the game was far too easy last year, the AI was absolutely horrendous in regards to baserunning, the batting stances were nothing like the real players, the ball seems to float rather than look realistic, and on and on and on and on and on....PSN: sportdan30

I wonder why Steve never mentioned these fairly obvious flaws in his 85% version. I read the 14 pages of posts a few days ago -- is there any discussion of the auto-dive problems or the failed sweep tags?

That's a great question, I don't remember seeing the fielding problems discussed in Steve's MVP impressions thread. Everyone was hung up on the baserunning though.
I would love to see Steve's reaction to the IGN review, maybe he will post!Comment
