for those who have actually read the review..does ign touch base at all with whether or not this game is an accurate simulation? do they address the ease of hitting, or whether or not striking out people is a problem? or do they gloss on and on about blunders that we have yet to see?

Re: MVP 2003 Review IGN Xbox
I feel the reviewer was gentle with the review because its EA's first chance at reinnovating its baseball franchise and they feel that it was a solid first effort. However, if this were an established franchise like HH or WSB shipping a game with these type of flaws it would be highly unacceptable and the total score would be a lot lower. This is my opinion on the matter. This fielding flaw is enough to shy me away from the game cause it absolutely destroys the realism.Comment

Re: MVP 2003 Review IGN Xbox
They mention nothing about number of walks, strikeouts, etc. They do say however that it has the best pitcher/batter/running of any of the games this season.
They also seemed to be upset that when players are introduced they play "guitar rock" and that you should mute it. What does that have to do with anything?PSN: JISTIC_OS

Anyone who read the review under lasting appeal it said that after ten years in franchise you will want to play again. does that mean that franchise mode only last for 10 years!!! that would really suck bizalls.Comment

Re: MVP 2003 Review IGN Xbox
i like to sim through them playing here and there along the way. I think its cool to see guys that ive drafted turn into veterans or future hall of famers. Like in WSB last year i ended up playing game seven of the WS aginst a pitcher i drafted in one of my first years, i thought that was pretty cool.

no, when you pick a team you get 10 years to complete yer goals. if you stink, you get canned. if yer tetons, you can sign on somewhere else. yadda yadda. anyways, you can play unlimited seasons, so it's all good, dig.Comment
