    Re: waivers

thanks everybody for setting me straight on the waiver situation.....but does anyone have any answers for why I'm having problems with the trading(other than saying it's not really happening)....I'm really going to be reluctant to try another trade until I get some kind of idea of what I did wrong or what I'm missing or whatever.
My Cubs have a 2 game lead at the end of May. It would suck not to be able to make a trade near the deadline to put me over the top for fear of losing both the player(s) I trade and trade for. thanks again

      Raagnar,

Here is a solution the problem. People do vanish period!

I had XBOX version. I am waiting for an answer from an ASB programmer to figure out a workaround so players don't just go poof.

One idea is as follows. Track every name for every team. Then save that file. This will be your permanent roster file.

Now back out, start franchise then backout and go into roster management again. What you should see is new fake player names! These people are expendable. Track all of them for every team.

Now sign everyone off of the FA list like Gant, Helling, Offerman, T. Clark etc.

Then release the fake players to the FA pool. If they disappear who cares!

Try it and let me know!

Ouch... how frequently are players actually going missing?
One or two, league-wide in a year isn't too bad... (think of them as people who got banned from baseball for illegal substance abuse or something, mental role-playing)... BUT if your team is losing one or two every couple years, that's just sickening.
