But nope. Jim Hendry is a POS. We'll probably get Gil Meche, or better yet, we'll get Steak Fajitas, er, I mean, Steve Trachsel back.....YAY!!!!!!! Steve can then yell at some of his teammates to turn off the TV after HE gets pummelled with his 81 mph fastball.

This organization sucks. I guarantee any money, if the Cubs happen to blow this, everyone will look back at this trade that they should've made.

    ****ing losers. I'm pissed.
You guys had nothing to offer them, and not every team is the Pirates.

Once again, not true. Chris DeLuca of the Sun-Times has said numerous times that the Cubs were indeed players in this trade and that they didn't want to give up too much.

Now if the Cubs do make the playoffs and have to face the Brewers, they will know why they won't be getting to the World Series. Because they are worried about next year AGAIN.

Why is it ok for the Brewers to "go for it"????? But our organization has no balls.

I'd put money on that guy lying to you.

Not one player in your farm system has the talent of Matt LaPorta. It's just more along the lines of the Indians needing great prospects and the Brewers have a lot to spare.

Sometimes other teams just have more to offer than the Cubbies.

          I know, I know. Shocking, isn't it?

Yep, becuase DeLuca is known as a liar. OK. He is the only credible journalist for the Sun-Times. I know because I get their paper everyday.

All the Brewers got was LaPorta. The other two guys are stiffs. That Zack Jackson kid is 1-5 with like a 7.00 era or something.

If you guys don't know what you're talking about, don't bother responding.

I know exactly what i'm talking about. Even if you traded for Harden, you fleeced the A's. No way you would give that to the Indians.

By the way, the PTBNL is going to be another top ten prospect, so if you don't know anything, then don't bother responding.

I'll give you that Jackson is a stiff, but I wouldn't exactly say that Rob Bryson is a stiff. 2 seasons in the minors with ok stats and a great strikeout rate doesn't exactly equal a stiff. And if Green is the PTBNL, then he's definitely far from a scrub. So as you said, if you don't know what you're talking about, don't bother responding

BTW, whatever Deluca wants to say, I've yet to see any other person in the know say that the Cubs were even in the top 3 in terms of contention for Sabathia.

Chris De Luca of the Chicago Sun-Times echoes the common sentiment that the Cubs probably don't have the young players needed to acquire C.C. Sabathia
