This happened to me without simulationg games. Oh and another thing, Nomo got pulled out in the 2nd inning and I was hitless against him!

Did the game say he got hurt because of injury? I haven't seen anyone get pulled earlier than the 5th--and that guy started getting shelled.

        No, there was no injury.

Man, I'm tempted to start my franchise over again.

Peter, are you sure you have experienced no problem with this?? Have you looked at stats for other teams too? The surprising thing I saw was that, although I was simming, the rotation for my team, the Cubs, rotated as it should have. It was other teams that rotated their pitchers in an absurd manner.

Wait, I just remembered another reason that I gave up my franchise. I had a great game going pitching with Johnson, then in the 5th I loaded them up. Green hit a groud ball to Womack and I over threw it to second. The ball got passed my second baseman and it went to the outfield. Two runs scored but I wasn't charged with an error and instead Johnson had to take the ERA hit. This p'd me off!

How can I meet a Cy Young goal if errors aren't registered as such?

Ok....just simmed till the end of the season. And the game started stats for pitchers in the league seems to be around normal. So I'm just very confused at this point. But for those of you who got all upset and said you wouldn't buy the game because of this, I wouldn't go that far.

What I can't figure out is how what I clearly saw in the first two weeks was "corrected" after simming through the entire season. I don't get it. Some other people here must be noticing this issue - has anyone figured out what's going on? My first guess would be that it has to do with the energy rating for your rotation? Another thing I'll look at is whether this happens only when you're playing in a series against a certain team (i.e. what happened to me when I was playing a series against the Mets and Glavine started two of the three games). Maybe that's the only time this happens, and all teams that you are not currently playing games out against rotate their pitchers properly. In any case, any light that can be shed on this would be helpful.

it might have to do with the fact that there are a lot of off days in april.

In the second game of my season I faced Burnett who was 1-0 with a cg victory. I was so pissed, but I knocked him out of the game before he recorded an out, haha, so he still only had 9 innings pitched.

I shelled Colon in the opener with KC (March 31st). He was out after 2 innings. I went to play the 2nd game (April 2) and Colon is starting again.

They also had Frank Thomas playing first instead of Konerko (DH) and Carlos Lee in CF, Ordonez in LF and Rowand in RF. Not unheard of I guess just screwy.

                                Still love it though.
