loved the (good) ncaa commercial, as for the derby, great showing by hamilton, hell, i think he had more homers in the first round than mouneau did the entire competition, but i may be wrong...

Tomorrow I cant wait to see what everyone thinks about NCAA 09..Im going to wait for real impressions.

Despite all the talk of a lackluster derby, the first round with Hamilton was all you needed to watch to get some enjoyment

Great derby. Hamilton wore us out though, after his 1st round performance, we just relaxed as a whole 'till he came up again. Can't wait for the game tomorrow.

Just watched the rest of the Derby on my TiVo...

I think it's RIDICULOUS that they interviewed Hamilton right after instead of the winner, Morneau. Sure Hamilton made the night, but Morneau won the CONTEST. Let him get the first interview.

Normally i'd agree with you BUT this was a transformative night. Hamilton went from being a really nice story and all that to becoming a star and his HRD performance is going to be one for the ages.

Oh and I saw the highlights....all I have to say is HOLY COW!

                          Re: Home Run Derby

Hamilton went from being The Natural to half dead. He then transformed himself back into a living person fighting to get his life back together. Got that, and he is well on his way to being The Natural again.

This guy, due to last night alone, has gone from great story/budding star to BONAFIDE Superstar. When you have 55K, at Yankee Stadium no less, chanting your name as you put on a Ruthian performance... You've made it. He is no longer just a feel-good story, he is now that guy the kids will want his jersey.

It amazes me how forgiving this country can be of it's sports stars. I hope all the future players popped for roids look at this story and just fess up and apologize. This guy, who was a literal crackhead and pissed his career away, is becoming the face of Baseball in America. Showing that you can overcome anything if you truly want to.

                          Bravo Josh, Bravo!

It all depends on your attitude and image after the problem, that's why Hamilton and Giambi aren't hated and Bonds is. As long as you're not a total d-bag and admit to your mistakes and apologize people in this country will give you a second chance.

wow what a home run show that was by Hamilton. Im very glad I saw it.

the script is better since he lost (even though he hit 14 more HRs than the "winner")...it kinda reminded me of that movie "Tin Cup" when Cup hit all of those amazing shots but still lost lol

and props to 71 yr old Clayborn Council! He was grooving those pitches in there. I imagine his arm isnt in very good shape today, but I bet he doesnt care.
