Sunday Night Baseball? I thought all Sunday baseball was only played in the early afternoon ..... oh that's right, it is if you're a reds fan.

Good thing the Jays are never on SNB.

I have to hear Philips give his great "expertise" on the Jays and MLB every week during the season on TSN. It's quite sad to listen to.

See that's the good part about being a Royals fan. Even though we suck, every now and then we play a Sunday night game because of the heat.

Wait, that's really not something to be happy about, is it?

I personally can't stand Jon Miller. Someone noted his great PBP but he doesn't follow the action enough. He gets too side track talking about this and talking about that and what can I say about Joe Morgan? How did that man ever get a job talking about baseball? He's the Emmitt Smith of baseball.

I think a lot of Miller's sidetracking is this need to involve Morgan in the telecast. Miller comes off as being forced to speak to Morgan so that the nation can hear Morgan's anecdotes.

I always got the impression that Miller would prefer to just call the play-by-play and have Morgan in a different room.

Well, I can't stand Joe Morgan so I barely watched the games anyway (unless it was a great matchup). Looks like I'll be doing the same this year.

That was me. I find his PBP to be excellent, just not when he's with Morgan. His radio work especially is top notch.

                  Bingo.
Yeah, I've heard him call some Giants (pretty sure) games on the radio and also have seen him without Morgan on TV. The guy is one of the best, IMO.

                    MASN games aren't much better...

Actually they are, but I just felt like saying that.

I prefer the crew that does the Nats games though.

Well thats just awesome.......as if listening to the two crackheads that announce Cubs games isnt bad enough( Bob and Len )I have to listen to these douchebags, assuming that the Cubs will be on SNB around 5 or 6 times.

This isn't too bad if you live near your home team. I can always drown in Michael Kay's questionable man-crush for Alex Rodriguez on YES. I'm pretty sure that my hearing is worse after listening to Michael Kay scream every other sentence. I don't think he knows how to whisper.

Or you can turn on the radio and have the pleasure of listening to Sterling and Waldman.

I'm already wondering what his nickname for Teixeira will be.
