I would say there are a few that I could say would be more than likely to be on roids, like Richie Sexson and Javy Lopez.

I'm dead serious, I think every single one of those guys was juicing at one point or another - maybe not in 2003, but at some point in their career.

That's exactly what I thought. A-rod basically admitted what he had to because everyone already knew. His answers did say nothing and it was obvious he was "coached" on what to say.

He acted like he didn't know what he put in his body? Give me a freaking break. It reminds me of the time Sosa acted like he didn't know he was swinging a corked bat. You play baseball for a living and you use the same equipment everyday. Like you really can't tell the difference between a normal bat and a corked bat.

If someone is injecting a substance into your body, at the very least you're probably going to ask what's in the syringe.

I don't know why this is so hard to believe. I understand the situation and A-Rod's comments are obviously not very credible at this point, but this isn't COMPLETELY out of the ordinary as guys make it to be.

I've been around guys who have used Steroids for body-building. The "handlers" are the ones that get the stuff and when they're talking someone into doing it, they don't break down the chemical composition; They stick you in the *** with it. That's it.

He knew it was a steroid. That's all he needed to know. He knew what it would do for his strength and performance.

As an aside, how many athletes have died that were admitted steroid users? I believe there was one notable athlete in the last 10 years.

Aside from the steroids, there's something about A-Rod that really bothers me, and has his entire career. I'm not sure, maybe the way he looks but I just get frustrated when I see his face. There could just be something wrong with me.

There is just something off about him. Even though I'm a big Yanks fan I still make fun of him all the time. He always seems so uneasy and goofy - and has some borderline, um, feminine mannerisms.

I wouldn't be surprised if A-Rod is gay or at the very least bisexual. He just has that vibe to me. I don't know what it is specifically but that's the sense I get when watching him interviewed or hearing clips of him on the radio.

I think so too. Canseco said he had some "other stuff" on Arod besides the steroids. From a 2007 article

My personal opinion is that Jr was juicing. I say that simple because of all the leg injuries the guy has had and he has broken down in strange ways on the field. I don't know if Manny does it or not, it was said earlier in this thread that he was really skinny with the Indians. But I just think that's because he was basically a kid then. As far as Alex goes, his body to my eyes hasn't changed all that much.
I do think his name was leaked because he is the next biggest fish besides Bonds, but I do believe the other 103 names need to see the light of day as well ASAP. That would be the best think for baseball, get all the names out at once, letting one or 2 names out at a time just makes things worse, and not only that. Without the names everyone just points fingers and speculates who juices and who doesn't.

Wasn't Griffey's first major injury the result of him flying into the wall full speed while going after a ball and getting his cleat caught... or something to that extent?

It doesn't mean you are on roids just because you have injuries. I would venture to say that if you are juicing, then you would probably stay healthier and stronger during the season.

His first big injury was when he broke his wrist jumping into the wall full speed in 1996 I believe.
