WOW.

That stat was crazy. A-Rod hit 156 HR's as a Ranger, during the time he confesses to.

That's only second to Bonds, who hit 162, IIRC.

I used to love to watch Jr. play CF when he was at his peak but damn if it doesn't look good for him...with all the injuries, diminishing numbers, etc.

If he goes down, the era is done. It's already teetering on the brink and if a few more big names come out, it's over the edge.

Come on man there is nothing at all putting Griffey ANYWHERE near any of this stuff. He has diminishing numbers cause he is getting OLDER. What a shock there is actually a baseball player that DIDN'T get better as they got OLDER and into their late 30's. Then if you look at his injuries they are all legit injuries that anybody big or small could have got hurt on. I mean they have already been saying for years Griffey doesn't even lift weights. I find it almost impossible to believe a guy that doesn't even lift weights would use steroids. You combine the fatcs that he doesn't lift weights and has gotten older and you could see why he has had the injuries and lower numbers.

So I saw some clips and listened to some audio of A-Rod's interview. Can you say "coached like crazy"? We all know A-Rod doesn't say anything publicly without being coached but that interview was so coached up that I had a hard time believing half of what he said.

Oh and the whole pressure thing? Well if he had that kind of pressure in Texas then I wonder what kind of miracle PEDs the man is on now as the pressure in NY is 100x greater. If you don't think A-Rod is using anything at all these days then well, you're more naive then I am in some aspects of life.

well he is probably using something. Most pro athletes do.

the only question is if he is using something that is banned by MLB...and there is a fine line

Clemens could have used, but there havent been any positive tests on Clemens, or really any credible evidence at all...only the word of criminals

After the Mindy story with Clemens and how that was covered up all these years, I think I'll believe the criminals, lol. Nothing they have said makes me doubt them at all, about everything Clemens has said has made me doubt him.

You guys also have to understand there is a HUGE difference between being investigated and or being prosecuted by the federal government and the local law. The FED's do alot more work and making sure everything is correct and ready before brining you in front of the judge and jury. That is why their conviction percentage is so outrageously high. Bonds has been under investigation for years and has had positive test and they are just now getting ready to go to trial. With such a high profile case like Clemens they are going to make sure all their duck are in a row so to speak before taking this to trial in front of all America to see. Plus you have to remember perjury is a VERY hard thing to prove. So you have to make sure all your evidence and things are in order.

i wouldnt doubt he has probably experimented with some PEDs in his career (most pro athletes have), but I dont believe it was at the level stated in the report...and I dont believe Clemens was supplying all of the incredible amounts of stuff himself, and therefore a distributor as was claimed in the report. Did you read the actual report?

you must not have been following this very closely. Parts of the Mitchell report on Clemens have been shown to be BS...the criminals have had a hard time backing up some serious claims and there have been quite a few contradictions and outright falsehoods about their statements.

I dont want to rehash the BS again, and list all of the contradictions in detail here, but here is one example

btw, one of the things I dont understand about all of this, is people calling for the accused users to go to jail. People are going after baseball players, while the criminals are writing books and going on radio shows.
