    Timed Hitting

Is there anyone out there that plays with Timed Hitting? If so i'm wondering what slider settings you use? I seem to be getting way too many hits, averaging 14 a game. I've tried moving up to cursor hitting but I just don't have the coordination!! I find it too frustrating to stick with for long. I used to play HH and found the timed hitting in that game to be awesome and I want to try and replicate that for WSB. Is there any hope or is this game just geared for cursor hitting?

Being a long time fan of High Heat, I was wondering the same thing. I like having timed batting, but I really need some realistic sliders. I am either having slugfests with 16-18 hits, or throwing 12 K's. Anyone out there with some good sliders?

    Thanks guys.

I use Timed Hitting. It's really hard to say which type of sliders give the most realistic effect across the board, BUT if you want the most realistic, I would say go with Xcell's sliders.
With those sliders, I am able to get about 6-7 hits on a mediocre team and about 2-3 hits on a good team. Against a team like Tampa Bay, I got about 10 hits. Against the Yankees I was able to scrape up about 3 hits.

Maybe a stupid question but where can I find Xcell's sliders?

I'd just like to add that the game against the Yankees was the most heart-breaking game I have ever played. I was leading 1-0 going into the 8th. I relieved Harden with Mecir and He gave up a lead off double. He got the 1st out but Giambi came up to bat. I intentionally walked him to get to Williams. In hindsight I should have pitched to Giambi, being that both are power hitters. But Williams was 0-3 that day and I took the chance. He blasted the second pitch over the right field fence and Rivera just sent me to my room.

I am using timed hitting and am getting around 10 hits a game but have also had games with lower hits. It seems to be fairly realistic for me.

The great thing about this game is the realism. After watching the Phillies score 13 runs in the 4th inning vs. the Reds I knew that anything was possible. I use timed hitting also and I am playing as the Braves. I went to Cincy and beat the Reds 23-2, I had 32 hits, BORING. I was about to change the whole slider deal, but then my next game I only hits. Then when the Reds came to HOT-lanta they took 2 of 3 from me, so I guess I just had an awesome day. It's all about the CPU pitching. Guys I can crush- Jimmy Haynes- CIN, Josh Beckett- FLA, Randy Wolf- PHI
Guys who make me bow down: Schilling- ARI, Pettite- NYM (through a trade) and Vazquez- MON

those guys have my number everytime they go out. when they are on the hill I use a lot of hit and run and I have to lean more towards generating runs than relying on homers.
