From my experience with HH, you can throw a strike if you want to with the bases loaded. The question is, do you want to gamebe by taking the chance and throwing the pitch in the strike zone? The batter may get good wood on it and he may not.

If anyone is getting football scores they must be with playing ASB 2002 or they're playing on rookie level.

Also HH must have some gameplay issues, thus the addition of sliders throughout the game.

Actually, you can try to throw a strike in HH, but trust me, you will not be successful everytime. In fact, a lot of times. Sometimes pitchers are "on" and sometimes "not". When they are not, no matter what you do, they just get hammered. Pitcher's control ratings also enter into the equation.

October played on All Star Level, classic cursor and scored 27 runs in his post. That's a football score.

True, but I've had this happen in ASB. I was playing against Jimmy Anderson, and he walked 5 batters in 5 innings, which isn't all that unrealistic (as long-suffering Pirates fans can attest to). I think the primary difference in ASB and HH as far as control issues go is that in HH, you're more likely to throw balls when your pitcher is "off". In ASB, an "off" pitcher is more likely to throw up some really fat pitches.

True, but there are games like this in real life. I can't say I've scored 27 runs in one game before though, and I've played half a season. Maybe it was against the Tigers?

Maybe because I put up 13 against the Devil Rays in Game 1 of our series last nite.

My highest scoring game was a 19-2 win over the D'Rays but they did beat me the opening game of the series. I just beat played a series with the Cubs right before the All-star break and lost 12-9, won 4-1, and won 12-1. Im playing Veteran level, classic cursor. All my games seem totally realistic. I ocassionally get blown out, I get a couple of blow outs, then i have a bunch of close games. I would guess if I averaged out all my games so far I would probably close to 4 runs and 9 hits a game while giving up 3 runs and 8 hits per game.

By the way, with the wise asses we have on this site, me included, I meant to use the word "trajectory" not "projectory" when talking about the path of the ball from the bat to the destination mark. Thought I would hurry and correct myself before I got slammed! Lord knows I would do it to somebody else.
