There's still the pressure of making the playoffs on any team. Obviously it won't be as magnified like in New York, but the Brewers were throwing him every 4th game for the last 2 weeks of the season and he dominated each time he was out there. They were in must win situations and he pitched fine.

I'm not going to base someone not being able to handle the pressure based on 5 postseason starts or however many CC has thrown in this career. It's way too small of a sample size.

He must have stopped and chatted with David Eckstein on the way to second then.

Note: I'm not watching the game because this stupid team still has their dumb cable deal.

Sand, I get what you are saying. But say they don't make it. Will there be 40 reporters in the brewers locker room asking him if he is worth the money? I'll even concede there was some pressure with the brewers but nothing like a team that expects to be in the playoffs (Cleveland) or win the title (Yankees). That is what i'm trying say.

New pen..same results.. Not going to be able to do anything if our pen doesn't step up. WainWright then well enough to win with 7 K's and 5 walks.. He left the game in the bottom of the 6th because of pitch count which was 91, the score was 2-0 ended up losing 6-4

Nah, he didn't touch him. I rewound my tivo about 5 times. The camera had a great view. I'd actually say the ump didn't have a good view from behind him. I can believe he couldn't see it but would call out based on the position and Posada blocking the plate. He didn't touch him though. Usually, the Yankees coming storming back to win by one after the missed call that seems to happen in every game the O's play em. I'm glad the O's kept it together for a change.

Still might be. I didn't think they should've put Ray out there in the 7th. There was a cushion but let him ease his way back in. He was throwing ropes down the middle of the plate. The rest had to get it back together after his big inning. I think the bullpen will be decent this year. It's the starters that I'm worried about. Guthrie is our ace. I mean, come on now. Hill is still hurt too. It's a great win but bad that they had to use so many pitchers in game 1. At least there's a day off.

And that is why Kemp is my favorite player. Dead center, what a beauty.

oooh yeah, my Dodgers up 4-1 so far over the Padres. With Peavy pitchingi thought we were going to lose today. Well, game still isnt over, but good to see Peavy give up some runs.
