I thought Manny and Kemp were going to run into each other in left.

I think this is a problem with MLB Replay. I don't think the umps would overturn that homerun, but they're too stubborn to even look. Managers should either get one forced request a game, or umps should be severely disciplined if they ever miss a call but refuse to go to replay.

Seems like he handled the pressure down the stretch with the Brewers last year just fine.

And faltered in Cleveland when they made the playoffs, then also in the beginning of the year last year, being one of the big reasons we had to trade him.

We'll see. He has failed when been relied upon before...and he has shown once that he can handle it. Not a good track record.

Hard to draw in Padre fans when you have bad PR surrounding how you handled a long-time fan favorite in Trevor Hoffman and all the other crap surrounding Peavy. Oh yeah, let's not forget cutting payroll and trading away the chick magnet Khalil Greene.
