Kyle Farnsworth is worthless. Shame on Trey Hillman for taking Meche out when he was completely dominating the White Sox lineup.Ryan Spencer

Yeah I was watching the game with a couple of friends, and we were like, Farnsworth will give up a run. Didn't know it would be a 3 run bomb though.Comment

Beckett is dealing so far. Nice to see that radar gun showing 95-96 on the fastball after how last season ended up for him. Shields has nothing going for him other than his change-up right now. I hope it continues, Opening Day wins are rare for the Red Sox.Comment

Becketts doing really well 7 IP with 10 K's and 1 ER is nothing to sneeze at. I think they can take him out though. I'd like to see what our bullpen can do.Comment

And faltered in Cleveland when they made the playoffs, then also in the beginning of the year last year, being one of the big reasons we had to trade him.
We'll see. He has failed when been relied upon before...and he has shown once that he can handle it. Not a good track record.
Not many pitchers have carried their team on their back like CC did for the Brewers last year. That trumps a few bad playoff starts
If the deal ends badly, it will be because it's a long term deal that is going to be paying him a ton of money when he's past his prime and probably won't be the same pitcher. It won't be because he can't handle the pressure.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
