I hate this bullpen, specifically Veras and Edwar.

I like Ramirez, and think he can be the top righty in this pen for New York. Pedroia is a tough matchup for him though because his change is less effective against righties and his fastball isn't good enough to sneak by a fastball hitter like Pedroia. Plus, Ellsbury should have never been on base anyways. If he can improve his breaking ball he'd be that much better.

He does get a lot of K's but he also walks too many batters and is way to homer prone. Also I would never really use him against the heart of another teams lineup. The power hitters can just sit on his fastball and crush it, because it has no movement.

Robertson and Melancon are probably better than him.

I'm always surprised to see right-handed pitchers with fastballs that top out at 90 that don't throw two-seamers. You would think an 88 mph sinking pitch would be better than a 90 mph straight one. His change is nasty though so you would think he can learn to set it up better and get consistent success.

I think Girardi was just hoping to get lucky with Robertson in that situation, and he didn't.

That was a good one. Too bad McCarver had to go and ruin it with his annoying cackling.

Teixiera with 5 walks on the day.

Mercifully, this one is over. Needless to say, both starters need to go deep tomorrow.

Yep. Your pitching sucked less than our pitching today.

Well, Randy Johnson isn't looking too good right now. 7 walks so far in 3 1/3 innings.
