God the Padres are horrible, but you already knew that!

Jays complete their first sweep of the year. It's going to be interesting to see how they do on the west coast this week. The Jays have been notoriously bad with west coast swings. Thankfully they're 2 short series against LA and Oakland.

WazzuRC, good call on that one!

Alright Yanks, big series against the Bo Sox at home... hopefully we don't get rained out though.

Liriano is throwing absolutely filthy stuff against the Tigers tonight. It's going to be tough to scratch a run across on him with the way he has been pitching.

Jackson hasn't been too bad himself.

Reds start a two-game set against the Marlins in Florida tonight.

Why do we have two-game sets? Just seems odd to me. I'll take 3 or 4 game series before I take 2.

Gotta love having the worst fielding team in the majors featuring two corner outfielders who cannot run worth a lick playing in a spacious ballpark, and a shortstop brought in because of his glove (?) who makes errors on routine grounders. Awesome.

Sounds like Padres baseball, experience it!

Guillen with yet another fantastically embarrassing effort out in left.

I'll never understand why divisional opponents decide to start games at 9:30 EST in a drizzle. It really sucks to be the fans paying the highest ticket price in baseball to sit through that.

It's downright stupid for Leyland to keep trotting Guillen out in left field with a guy like Josh Anderson sits on the bench. Anderson should be the everyday left fielder by default while Guillen should be full-time DH and never see the field. Hmmm... I might be posting this message in the wrong thread. *looks for Dusty Baker thread*

Isn't it weird how once a no-hitter is broken up the starter turns the crap? Tallet nearly cost the Jays the game when he crapped the bed.

Oh and Jamie Campbell is such a douche. The guy brazenly talked about how Tallet had no hits on the board etc etc etc. For a guy who supposedly loves baseball he sure murders the sacred cows!

Yeah, the Royals announcers were talking about that before the 7th. Saying how the Royals were still in it, because that seems to happen a bunch.
