    Re: 5/4-5/10 MLB Discussion

So how do the Dodgers do in their first inning without Manny?

Well how about 5 runs including a grand slam. And we are still playing.

So uh... how 'bout them Dodgers?

Any coincidence that without Mannywood they will lose their first home game of the year?

          No, since Manny doesn't pitch.

Manny came out of the bullpen?

I mean our offense did still score 9 runs. Don't see the Giants do that to much.

And Pierre Valley was just fine, I think calling it Pierrewood just sounds weird.

Hey man, I've been sitting here for the past two years demanding that we pick up a guy like Bonds or Ramirez.

No worries, just givin' the Dodger fans a hard time.

I'm not a big fan of drawing any kind of conclusions from a small sample size, but New Yankee Stadium is looking more and more like a launch pad everyday. I'm betting the Yankees treat New Yankee Stadium like New Coke and in the offseason make some major modifications. I shudder to think of the additional costs this would require.

Jays just didn't have it last night and Ray looked a bit shaky. Hopefully that was his last start and one of our injured arms comes back. I've heard Ricky Romero is in Florida rehabbing so that's positive news there.

Oh and Aaron Hill hit his 8th HR

Hopefully we take 2 of 3 or sweep the A's
