Well, if anything, at least one person decided to show up for the season for San Diego.

Gonzalez is amazing, is he locked up long term with San Diego?

I actually don't know. Maybe. He's making $3 million right now and if the Padres do trade away Peavy, I expect them to have long-term deal negotiations with Gonzalez if he doesn't already have one.

Who had the joy of watching the O's/Rays last night, and all the web gems that ended up on Baseball Tonight.

Man...that games was awesome. I really love this O's team (offense/defense). I hope all of their young pitching pans out so they can get back to competing in the AL Easy.

It was a good game. The ending got a little crazy. DT tried to get a young reliever some work, but he had some problems. They made it interesting in the 9th though.

OF prospect Nolan Reimold got called up today Hopefully he'll do well. At AAA this season (109 AB): .394/.485/.743 9HR 27RBI

The pitchers are coming though. Hopefully some of them pan out.

Hopefully Reimold can have an impact. What's going to become of Felix Pie? How do you feel about that Olson for Pie deal now?

W/ Luke Scott battling an injury, Reimold should get some opportunities.

I had to leave for work, but it looked like the Dodgers started choking.

                        *EDIT
Glad we got out of that 5th inning with no damage.

We just took the lead. Loney just hit a home run.

Oh, I'm following. Just on the slow *** Fox Sports gametrack. Bills and Cole are going at it.

We should face Philly more often. Loney has 2 HRs in the year, both in this series. I was starting to get worried about him.

Very good game...I'm hoping we can knock Broxton around some in the B9th FTW.

BTW - Anyone seen Verlander's line...What a dominating performance. Too bad Bobby Seay blows, and gives up 4 runs in a 3rd of an inning.
