Man, Austin Kearn and Adam Dunn stayed at Griffeys guest house during spring break. They get along great. Larkin and Griffey are best friends. Casey likes him and was excited for him. During the spring against the Yankees, Griffy, Dunn, and Kearns car pooled together and parked in George Stienbreners(sp) parking spot at the Yankees field. The only people that have said negative things about him were Pokey Reese and Dimitri Young, both off the team. Its not his personality that hurts the team, it is the injuries. I admit that the injuries have messed this team up the last few years. But Griffey has never had a chance o show people how he can help this team and until he legitimantly proves he cant, he does not deserve the critizism.

You could Mantle, Ruth, Mays and Williams on the Reds and you're still going to see them struggle to get out of the middle of the pack in the NL Central.

Their inability to develop good starting pitching in their farm system just amazes me. It's been a long time since Tom Browning came through the system.

It appears if they are as outfield heavy as everyone seems to believe (Griffey, Dunn, Kearns, Guillen, Taylor, Mateo, even Branyon and Pena (who is optionless)), maybe it's time to start shopping?

I've never seen some many pitchers in our farm system developing arm problems, It never ceases to amaze me with this organization! I think we need to start weedin' it out starting down on the farm!!!!!!!!!
