Man the two hole hitters in the reds/cubs game are just amazing. Aaron Miles and Alex Gonzalez, both having career years...yeah right

It must be the amazing on base percentages the have, both hovering around .240

Yankees take 2 from the Blue Jays. Great job, facing Halladay last night, and Mitre pitching tonight I thought winning one would be a good job. Boston loses again, so we have a 2.5 game lead.

      Bring on the Red Sox.

The Mets season is pretty much the picture perfect example of epic fail.

Win a game, lose a pitcher till next spring training.

All I have to say is Prince Fielder is the biggest baby in the game. He can complain all he wants about getting hit by Mota but thats retaliation you big baby.

Agreed. Even John Kruk was saying how disappointing it was that Fielder doesn't know the game well enough to realize it was a retaliation..........and one done in the best possible manner with the ball put low and on the fat of his leg. For the kind of reaction Fielder offered up afterward Mota might as well have just gone upstairs on him.

Fielder should've just manned up and charged the mound with his 300 pound body instead of going all WWE at the end of the game in front of the Dodgers locker room. What a joke.

I feel so bad for the security guy that has to try to talk him down.

Dustin Pedroia just hit his first career opposite field homerun. Only at Yankee Stadium.

Now Casey Kotchman is going deep. This stadium is a disaster.

The John Smoltz experiment needs to end. He's had a Hall of Fame career, but he won't be remembered for his time in Boston. He either needs to try to make it as a relief pitcher, or get the old DFA.
