What about the best trade in Mariners history?

Randy Johnson to Houston for Carlos Guillen, Freddy Garcia, and John Halama.

What a freakin steal. RJ for 1/2 a season too.

The Griffery trade for Brett Tomko, Mike Cameron, Antonio Perez and Jake Meyer doesn't look as bad as it once did.

Especially how much $ we saved on both trades.

Giants got Vander Wal and Jason Schmidt for Armando Rios and Ryan Vogelsong. Rios and Vogelsong both had season ending injuries like a week after they get traded.

yeah in the clement/alfonseca for tavarez the prospect the cubs gave up was dontrelle willis, a young fireballer who rose through the minors with the marlins and now is tearing up the league. its making the cubs wary of trading young pitchers and it makes this deal a little more even now that you think about it

Is Sosa for George Bell too old?

That Bobby Estrada trade is pretty awful too.

Luther Hackman and a minor leaguer for Brett Tomko. Tomko has been stinking it up for the Cardinals. I think Hackman did better work then he has done.
