It could be worse, you could have the MLBtv feed where the Braves announcers were saying Adrian Gonzalez was good, but not in the same class as Adam LaRoche.

Ted Leitner rags on everyone, I'm not surprised. Just don't get him started on Barry Bonds.

True...but last night Jerry Coleman, who I usually like, started going on how Everth Cabrera is better than Ozzie Smith. He and Ted were stating that Cabrera has a better arm, his range is almost as good at this point, and his bat is much better than Ozzie's. Seriously...comparing the greatest defensive SS of all time to some kid who hasn't played a full year in the bigs yet.

I think this is a sign that Jerry needs to retire. I mean a guy of his stature and longevity in the booth shouldn't be going on with that kind of comparison of a kid who's done nothing and the Wizard of Oz.

Anywho, Aaron Hill is the man! Last year I thought he'd never be the same again...well he isn't but in the positive sense Even though the Jays stink right now they have some good pieces on the major league roster. They just need to put it together.

Either he was comparing him to the Padres version of Ozzie Smith, or like SPTO said, Jerry's losing it, which he has been for a while.

Dude is having one hell of a year, must be happy to have him locked up through 2014.

Man what a crazy game in Toronto tonight.

Marc Rzepchynski (sp) throws a no-no through 5 2/3 then allows two runs and the Jays are totally anemic at the plate til Rod Barajas pinch hits in the 9th and ties the game with a HR. JP Howell of the Rays implodes as the home plate umpire (more on this in a sec) decides to have a wildly varying strike zone. Heck the game could've ended as the ball was right down broadway but was called a ball!

Anyways in the 3rd inning the original home plate umpire gets knocked out of the game then in the 6th the guy who replaced him takes a fastball straight in the chest! So we had 3 different home plate umpires tonight. I dunno how rare that is but i've never seen it in my life.

Not aiming high are you? You're already conceding this year's World Series title.
