        He's a utility player right...?

Was Gammons serious saying Tazawa could be better than CC?

The Royals are considering a contract extension for GM Dayton Moore, according to ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick. Moore's current contract runs through 2010 and the Royals may keep Moore around for even longer.

Moore, who took over control of the team in 2006, has been harshly criticized for some deals, but praised for others. He faced criticism for acquiring Mike Jacobs and Yuniesky Betancourt, but received praise for locking Zack Greinke up affordably.

Crasnick suggests that an extension for Moore would increase manager Trey Hillman's chances of keeping his job after next year, when his contract is set to expire.

Being a Schuerholz prodigy, I really thought Moore would've produced better results than he has...

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

What's with the Indians hitting clutch game winning home runs in Camden Yards...first Tony Fernandez, now Andy Marte

I'm starting to think Felix Pie isn't just a bench bat after all...I could see him starting in LF next year if they move Luke Scott and then make Nolan Reimold the everyday DH.

I dunno, the Pirates are playing teams tough all of a sudden. That McCutcheon kid they got is pretty eye catching to me. Knowing the Buccos though he'll be gone by next year.

I assume he's a Dodger? How old is he?

I ask because it's nice to see that the knuckleball will still be around when Wakefield finally hangs em up. (Heck I could see Wakefield "pitching" into his 50s!)

I'm hoping there's a rain delay in Baltimore tonight so I can still catch most of the game...love to watch Tillman pitch.
