    griffy,

Hear the same thing about the PC. Too bad, the mods on the game are sweet! Wish updates through AR or XBL would help the console game.

Too bad 3do filed for bankruptcy. Updates may become sporadic, if they're not already. I think the only XBL updates are for rosters.

The mod community for HH is absolutely amazing!! There are some really talented people out there that spend a lot of time making the game outstanding!

feel your pain! I've been playing High Heat since Sammy Sosa 2001. Granted, I don't have time to play constantly, so I don't claim to be all that good.

What are your settings? I play on All-Star (with a downloaded tune file). I'm the Pirates, playing at Colorado and lost the first 2 games 9-2 and 8-4. Same thing happens; throw a ball, the batters take and walk. Throw strikes, they get crushed.

However, you won't find a more realistic b-ball game out there. The thing is, this game always keeps me coming back and I don't feel like the CPU cheats me. Think about what your doing. Set up the hitter; play the percentages; adjust your fielders, etc. The CPU in this game is VERY smart. But, with time and effort, you can beat it. Hang in there and keep at it!

Are you by chance the same griffy who was having problems with the game running in slow motion on your PC? I read the message boards at another site about a griffy having this problem.

No, that wasn't me. You mean there's another griffy out there?

I've been pretty fortunate with my copy. It has the sound bug, but I've been able to do some mods where it doesn't sound too bad. Other than that, I get a pretty solid frame rate and the game hasn't crashed on me. I've heard a lot of people had problems with HH2003, though.

                  Re: HH: drivin\' me nuts

I had major problems with the game running in slo-mo on my PC. I updated my video drivers and tried every other suggestion, but to no avail. Had to return the thing to Walmart and get HH on the Xbox instead. I think the site where i read the complaint was allsportgamer.com
