Not really, there's a huge difference between saving games in regular season and in the playoffs. Very different atmosphere and feel to it.

In the final month of the season, when the Twins were making their dramatic comeback, Nathan pitched 14.1 innings in clutch situations and gave up two runs, which is something like a 1.25 ERA. With how unlikely the comeback was, everyone knew that every single game was needed, and sure enough, if Nathan would have blown any of those saves, the Twins wouldn't have made the playoffs.

Okay well, Nathan doesn't pitch well against the Yanks. We can agree on that?

I like the recent trend in MLB broadcasting where they don't show the crazies that run out on the field.

Yeah, I don't get this Nathan isn't clutch talk. It's just that he never pitches well against the Yankees, no matter regular season or postseason.

It seems like no one on the Twins plays well against the Yankees (except Mauer, but he plays well against everyone). When our piranhas can't even run the bases properly, that's it, that's the sign of the Twinspocalypse for a series.

The four guys in that picture made 25% more than the entire Twins team this year.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be bitter or anything, it's just kinda...shocking...when put in that sort of perspective.
