It's the same thing that happened in the 15 inning game earlier this year.

You cannot fall behind like that to a hitter like A-rod in an important situation. Especially as a closer.

Nathan can't be pitching scared to players like A-Rod. He has to try and bust sluggers inside on occasion. As a pitcher, constantly nibbling on the outside corner will only invite trouble once you fall behind in the count. And trouble is exactly what he got throwing a get-me-over fastball on a 2-0 count to A-Rod.

I turned the game on and said "I want to see if the Yankees are actually going to lose" to my mom.

I then saw Tex get his single, flipped back to the Sox pregame and said "I have no interest in seeing a tying homerun, though."

I flip back quickly and it's 3-3.
