I'm sorry, it's just not something a teammate should do. At the very least, for love of the ****in' game---dude, it's a ONE RUN game in the NLCS! I would stay just as a fan of the game and drama.

I think a man with integrity and a man who respects his teammates and the game should be in the dugout if only for moral support to not only the guys in the field but the other guys in the dugout. To me, baseball is the ultimate team sport and you should support your team in any way you can. I know that he would have no impact on the game, but it just looks extremely selfish IMO.

I mean honestly, he can't wait a few minutes to take a shower?! Is it really that important?! I mean, I don't know, I guess if being first out of the shower is more important than watching your teammates try and advance to the World Series more power to you, but it's no wonder the Sox players didn't care when Manny left.

I know we all can chalk it up as "Manny being Manny" once again, but if it was Ryan Howard or Albert Pujols, or really anybody else, I think people would be more up in arms about it. Just like the media and NFL fans were so against Randy Moss when he left the field early with 2 seconds left as the Vikes were kicking an onside kick.

Chemistry means nothing in baseball. There have been a ton of teams who couldn't stand each other & still won. Ruth & Gehrig didn't speak to each other. The A's & Yanks of the 70's fought constantly. Pinella got in fist fights w/his Reds' bullpen. Chemistry means zilch in baseball. You don't have to like each other. You just have to do your job.

If the Dodgers bullpen was affected in anyway by Manny's non-presence in the dugout, they are the problem. Not Manny's hygiene. They are mental midgets.

Cry me a river. What in the world could Manny have done, huh? What affect @ at all could he have had if he was there in the dugout? Give me a break.

Was he going to shout advice to Braxton on how to pitch? Was Braxton going to say "Ooo! Manny is there. He believes in me!! I've now got the strength to strike Rollins out!"? Was he going to tell Torre he's got too much space in between right & center for Rollins to drive a ball into the gap? Was the defense looking in the dugout wishing Manny was there?

Quit whining & crying. If the Dodgers were in any way affected by Manny showering, then we can see why they are a game away from elimination. They are too mentally weak to win the WS. Grow a pair.
