Ok...you are unfairly comparing the two contracts. A-Rod is in his 8th season, making $22 Million (and going through Free Agency to get that contract). Pujols is in his 3rd season, still playing under the contract he signed when he was a rookie in Minor League ball. Trust me...Pujols will see some big $$$ when his contract expires and it is time for a new one.

Not only that, but everybody can have a down year. You can't expect them to just keep getting better and better every year.

I completely agree. I don't like Scott Boras either...ever since I found out he was J.D. Drew's agent, and told him to sit out the season after he was drafted by the Phillies, so he could re-enter the draft.

Boras is very evil, and I completely agree.

Couldn't Chipper play 3rd? But then you would still have Andruw Or Jr to play CF. And you would love a healthy Griffey to play there. Imagine the middle of your lineup AVERAGING .300, 40 HR, and 110 RBI.

Then, if you had Griffey and Andruw in the outfield, you wouldn't need anyone else. They could play Left Center and Right Center field.
