    Yeah you always have to go for the hometown team. But that doesn't mean you can't root for other teams. I'm a Brewers fan. But my hometown team is the Cardinals. Even though their in the same division I still want both of them to do well...

      I live in NJ, and I like the Yankees, so thats basically the hometown team.

            I too am a die hard Cubs fan (even though they suck). I just can't root for the White Sux.

                        Sox,Pats,Celts,B's are my home town teams and i'm happy to be a fan of them, and still live there.
