Absolutly I still root for the Pirates even though I moved to New Jersey. I root for all the Pittsburgh teams plus I couldn't live with my self if I started to root for the some of these New York/New Jersey teams.

Born and raised in western PA, went to Pitt, and now I live in NYC. I'm still a fan of every Pittsburgh team, and there's no way I could ever bring myself to root for the Mets, Yankees, or Rangers.

Good luck rooting for the Rangers, this team is very frustrating. I still root for them, they can just get really boring to watch some times.

Yes, I root for my hometown team. (The Detroit Tigers. .)

Probably because I've grown up hearing stories about the franchise and their players, and because there is no major league team in North Carolina.

You gotta pull for your hometown team. It's easier also because of the radio stations, local games & news, and you can go to the game whenever you want. I pull for every hometown team, even if they're so called rivals. I like to see them suceed.
