It's a different regime in Toronto though. I can see Drabek coming up after the All-Star break. Marcum is basically at his optimum right now. In fact the Jays are projected to make him their #1 starter. McGowan is another issue altogether though.

The 5th starter race in Baltimore will be interesting. Chris Tillman is the odds-on favorite, but I can't see them keeping a guy like Jake Arrieta down if he dominates and Tillman looks shaky.

I do love the fact that 4 OF 32 ST games are being shown on a network THAT WAS CREATED TO SHOW THE ORIOLES.

        Such absolute crap.

Arrieta's time likely will come in the second half of the season. If the Orioles are not really in contention at the end of july it is likely they will trade Kevin Millwood (who is eligible for free agency next winter) which could open the door for Arrieta. If it isn't Tillman as the 5th starter to open the season i imagine David Hernandez or Jason Berken would get first crack.

That's more likely. This year's likely opening rotation has the potential to completely crap on last year's atrocity.

              Psh.

              Jake Westbrook-Fausto Carmona-Justin Masterson-David Huff-Um...?

Easily the best rotation in the AL Central.

I don't know Scott Baker, Nick Blackburn, Carl Pavano, Francisco Liriano, Kevin Slowey looks pretty good too.

Maybe if it was Francisco Liriano circa 2006 and Carl Pavano circa 2004.

IMO if anything is the downfall of the Twins this year, it'll be the pitching.

Did you see what Liriano did in Winter Ball?

In all seriousness, that is probably the best pitching staff in the AL C.
