I just saw that Barry Zito hit Prince Fielder today with his first pitch today. What's up with that?

That's a sweet pic Matrix. I can't wait to see Heyward in action. He looks like he could be a beast.

Roy Halladay was FILTHY today against the Yankees. He threw something like 24 or 25 pitches, 21 of which were strikes. CC seemed to struggle a bit, but in the end gave up no runs.

      Thank god baseball is back...

I wish I had the MLB tv stuff so I could watch the Sox spring training games. Any other White Sox fans know when the first televised one is?

They're playing the Angels on MLBNetwork tonight at 10 CST. It's tape delay, but it's baseball.

I should have gone past the 6:00 game!

I watched the boxscore update whilst doing other things online today, so I know the outcome. I might still watch bits and pieces, who knows.

Don't know why I didn't think to look for that.

First two days have been decent for the O's. Josh Bell hit 2 homers (one from each side) in his debut, Felix Pie had a homer and a triple, and Brian Matusz looked really good, especially in a 14 pitch at-bat with Evan Longoria that ended in a K.

That was for the 12th inning walk off homer celebration from Fielder that the Brewers had previously choreographed. That's the one where all the Brewers were lying down like bowling pins and Prince was the bowling ball.

That game knocked the Giants out of the playoffs.

Eh, if they feel a need to get back at the Brewers, do it in spring and get it over with. Must have bothered the Giants all winter.

Carlos Santana looks like a mirror image of Victor Martinez...kinda freaky actually.

This kid will be a beast.

I know it's his first action of the Spring, but I hate Carlos Silva already.
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

I can't say I disagree. Although I didn't think favorably of him in the first place, this just makes it worse.

I was listening to the Jays game this afternoon. It was very encouraging to hear how well Marcum pitched coming off of TJ surgery. Hopefully today was an indication of things to come as he was really grooving as a SP before his arm problem.

Jose Bautista is just tearing the cover off the ball early on this spring as well. I know it's too soon to make heads or tails of it but if getting his first opportunity to be an everyday player and batting leadoff is going to produce this kind of result then the Jays may be pleasantly surprised with a Scutaro-like season at the leadoff spot.
