I'm impressed with Mike Leake so far.... almost had a disastrous 1st inning, loaded the bases with no one out and pitched out of it.

        Strasburg's and Chapman's debuts are on ESPN3/ESPN360 at 2.

          He'll be fine.

TBS's presentation has improved 100 fold. No more Chip Caray and a straightaway center behind the pitcher camera = win.

Mark Buehrle, you need to stop this losing streak today. Let's go.

the pitch trax is still really distracting, but I agree with what you said

Strasburg with 5 K's through 3 IP. Gave up two hits and a walk in the first but hasn't allowed a base runner since.

He was definitely great today. No help from the Reds bats though - Gorzelanny has been equally sharp.

Reds going to the pen in the 7th, Cubs lead 1-0.

Zambrano's opening day implosion aside, the Cubs are getting some nice work out of the starters.

                      Soriano is useless.

                        This.

Didn't he misplay one earlier in this game? I know he did one yesterday, too...

Marshall is nails. Comes into a bases loaded 1 out after Soriano's gaffe, gives up the tying run (probably saving a second one by knocking it down), but strikes out the next two to keep it tied.

I see Joe Maddon has no idea how to use Randy Choate. He's a LOOGY, don't put him in against righties. He did it yesterday and he got hammered, and today he's putting him in against switch hitters.

And, yep Posada just hit a home run.

Home Run Beckham! Tie game 4-4. Must avoid sweep...

Chapman's line: (Hit 101mph in the 1st inning)
