I'm impressed with Mike Leake so far.... almost had a disastrous 1st inning, loaded the bases with no one out and pitched out of it.

Strasburg with 5 K's through 3 IP. Gave up two hits and a walk in the first but hasn't allowed a base runner since.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Reds going to the pen in the 7th, Cubs lead 1-0.
Zambrano's opening day implosion aside, the Cubs are getting some nice work out of the starters.Last edited by bcruise; 04-11-2010, 01:57 PM.Comment

Marshall is nails. Comes into a bases loaded 1 out after Soriano's gaffe, gives up the tying run (probably saving a second one by knocking it down), but strikes out the next two to keep it tied.Comment

I see Joe Maddon has no idea how to use Randy Choate. He's a LOOGY, don't put him in against righties. He did it yesterday and he got hammered, and today he's putting him in against switch hitters.
And, yep Posada just hit a home run.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
