Alex Rios just ended the No Hit bid. Jays fans are awfully quiet now, probably because they still have the lead.

    Edit : and.... it's over. 4-2 Jays.

Great great game by Ricky Romero!

He was just dominant. It figures that bum Alex Rios would break up the No-Hitter though. Damn bastard still raises the ire of Jays fans even when he's not playing for them!

It did look like Ricky was getting a bit excited in the 8th though and that's one thing that has been a constant in his young career but so far this year he's been cooler then a cucumber. I said it when he came up last year and i'll say it again Ricky Romero has the chance to be a real good pitcher in this league. Already his stuff has been compared to Johan Santana by some guys who've faced him.

Another observation that has nothing to do with the game per se but this new turf is pretty wacky. It looks like it's very bouncy near the warning track but plays like overgrown grass everywhere else. Encarnacion's double would've bounced a lot more and rolled faster on the old turf last year. Now because of how slow the turf plays that ball became a no man's land double whereas last year it'd be a single or a close call at 2nd.

This is a joke. Brian Matusz pitched an amazing game but gets saddled with 4 ER. How stupid of me to think we had the game in hand.

Why did the Orioles wear their Spring training jerseys tonight?

It's something that's been happening since last year with some teams. Actually I know for a fact that last year the Rangers wore their BATTING PRACTICE jerseys for some games.

                    That's just so bush league.

I haven't noticed it before but I agree with you.

I know in the end it doesn't mean anything, but it annoyed me to see them wear these. The in-season jerseys should always be a full button jersey, not the two button jersey they wore.
