Cubs hang a 4-spot on LaTroy Hawkins in the 8th - everything with 2 outs - to take a 7-6 lead!

He played just like he did in a Cubs uniform. Marmol was lights out and struck out the side. He's a beast when he gets the ball over the plate.

            Good win.

Typical Sox...poor offensive performance one day, blowout the next.

Nice to see the offense get rolling.

Nelly Cruz hit home run #6 earlier. He is just on fire right now.

                Batting average around .450.

Well, that was a crappy performance. You had to know the pitching wasn't going to be lights out every game so this was a bit overdue. I hope we can salvage the split tomorrow.

In other news, I knew that Frasor was gonna get the boot as Cito announced before tonight's game that Kevin Gregg is the closer now.

Much better game for the Braves. Hanson is going to be a great pitcher.

I think Chase must've forgotten how many outs there were in the top of the sixth but it doesn't matter. Sean Gallagher is really walking a thin line on this team and Ramos may have another two games to prove himself. All-in-all, I expected the Padres to get shut down by Hanson thus why I benched all Padre hitters on my fantasy teams.

I think 34 homers is more like it. Who knows though, the guy has the talent to push for a 40/40 campaign.

As I post that about Sean Gallagher he strikes out the side with a 5-run deficit.

Was at this game when Glaus hit that shot off of him...I don't think the ball has landed yet.
