I'm tired of the Morales experiment as closer. The dude is all over the place and thats the only thing he can consistently do.

Adam Jones is a bum. The Mariners were smart to get rid of him when they did.

And Jake Peavy continues to suck. Great.

OK. You walk the bases loaded, give up back to back hits, and oh look there's a 5 spot on the scoreboard. Suck away Jake Peavy, do your thing.

Our defense blows chunks...I see Escobar is up to his usual tricks.

O's are getting killed, but Chris Tillman just pitched a no-hitter against the Braves' AAA team...congrats to CT.

This is absurd...and when he figures it out, and starts hitting the breaking balls...OR...Brian Roberts comes back and gives him some protection you'll be singing a different tune.

What's funny is the only thing you seem to be proof positive about is JJ Reddick as an NBA talent...batty.

Anyways...glad the Phillies avoided the SF sweep. I don't care how they did it, and if Bruce Bochy helped. Just glad they didn't get swept...that's why they're the "Phightins".

                    1. It's Redick. Don't disrespect The Great One please. Moving on.

                    2. Since last June he's been hitting about .220. That's a little more than a small sample size, plus he had B-Rob and Markakis protecting him last season. His career has gone the way of Corey Patterson really quickly.

He's 25 man...He hit .270 in July '09 w/ 5 HRs and 15 RBI. He'll bounce back, and Markakis fell off a cliff last yr too, which could've contributed to Jones' dip in production. No?

Oh...and the O's have "only" gone up against 4 of the best staffs the AL has to offer (SEA, TB, NYY, OAK), and that's not including Boston and Toronto...Come on man. (1) Temper your expectations (2) Realize it's April...

On top of the spring training comments Jake made regarding the Padres, this has been a terrible, terrible season. So far four of my Cy Young contenders for the AL have fallen on the wayside early (Lee due to injury, Peavy due to ineptitude, Lester struggling, Verlander doing his usual April stuff).

I think I'll keep a rolling stat tracker for my awards prediction from the beginning of the season,

Heh, Justin Verlander will pick it up now that April is almost over.

The D-Train is actually pitching against the Twins today like he belongs in the majors. It's good to see that.

And Austin Jackson should win April's AL Rookie of the Month award hands down.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Wind is blowing out at Wrigley, and The Cubs dont have a player with the ability, to get one up in that wind.
