Calling him the worst ump in history is pretty absurd.

You all have no idea how much I abhor those who feel sports is so important to them, and their lives, that they feel the need to threaten an official/umpire/ref's or athlete's life, or family, whenever they do something which results in their precious team/school losing a game or achievement. It's absolutely pathetic.

That was a great read on Jim Joyce. It certainly reminds me that that despite what the media tends to harp on, I believe there are more good folks in the world than those that are described in my paragraph above.

Ditto...it's pathetic. If any of my teams lose, I'm over when the clock hits 0:00 or the last out is recorded. Sports are entertainment...they're for fun. There's enough stress in work/life to get that worked up over a game. Even worse when people are threatening other's over it.

Was pretty absurd right after it happened too. Typical sports overreaction.

After seeing the video and interview. I feel for his family having to go through that stuff. Even after the man stood up and admitted he was wrong. They should be proud of their father/husband and I hope they realize not all of us baseball fans are tards or immature.

                lol this again...

Sorry for him and all the threats to his life because that's messed up, but really... both involved are infamous now. Whether positively or in a negative sense. Really nothing more can be said on it at this point.
