Hammel gives up 2 runs and now has a ND. So frustrating at times to watch the pitching staff collectively struggle at times.

I think the Giants may have caught a break in their inning. Did you see the ball that got the HP umpire's left groin? They showed it in slow motion and, while everyone was so focused on where the ball struck him, I don't think that Huff even got a piece of it. That was on a two strike count and he ended up drawing a walk. It maybe should have been a strike out.

Anyone get a screencap of that? That was pretty funny.

Cliff Lee strikes out 11 today, walks 1....

....and his strikeout-to-walk ratio for the season actually gets worse.

            That's ridiculous.

Oh well. Hopefully he picks it back up. I have trouble believing that with as dominant as Ubaldo was aside from his last few starts, that he won't return somewhat to form.
Personally I think you're better off keeping Ubaldo. Colorado is a hell of a team despite missing Tulowitzki and even if Ubaldo's slipping, he's still going to pitch well IMO for the rest of the season.

Ugly win for Rockies. I lost count for LOB, I think it was 18+ by the end of the game

Giants must have walked at least 15 batters.

Fowler reached base 17 times in that series. That must be some sort of record.

It must blow for Royals fans...they are hardly ever on national TV and they play like that the one time they are.

I managed to pull a couple from the archives.

I swear, they were on each other for at least five seconds.
