Here comes Span again. No one in the modern era has hit 4 triples in a game....

They just cut to the Dodgers/Giants game on MLB Tonight. I swear I could listen to Vin Scully call grass growing.

Mujica is terrible. He should never be brought in to pitch in close games.

Brandon Morrow was due to have a "bad" start. I put bad in quotes because it was a pretty good start but not close to what he'd been doing all month. At least the Jays actually "gasp" scored some runs!

As long as it's not a ligament, it looks like he may be able to bounce back from this.

Street with his first save since last year. Padres had a few calls go against them

In hindsight, Bud Black should've used another reliever to close out the game on Sunday instead of Gregerson. Would be different if Gregerson was available for the seventh instead of having to resort to the other middle relievers.

Eddie Mujica still has a job as a major league reliever?!

Yeah, he's pitched well enough to keep his job and this year his only aberrations are the longballs. Everything else suggests he's having at least a good year but because of his tendency to give up home runs, he shouldn't be coming in during close games.

I love it when LA plays the Giants. 8-1 in the 6th, going for the sweep...makes up for Sunday in my book.

So at the end of the day in the NL West race.

The Dodgers will have gained two games.
The Rockies will gain only one.
                              The Giants lose one.

                              Not bad.

13-3 is ugly but I'll take 2 of 3, thats what I wanted going in realistically
