Joba Chamberlain threw some lettuce at Jose Lopez and he sure did make salad as he hit a grand slam. Which spoiled seven innings of gritty work by Javier Vazquez, and the Yankees can now say hello and good bye to their seven-game winning streak with losing to the Mariners 4-1. -

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

As we are now underway in Seattle, C.C. Sabathia goes for his eighth straight victory to close out the first half of the season in the finale of the Yankees' four-game series against the Mariners at Safeco Field.
Ryan Rowland-Smith, who squared off against C.C. on July 1 at Yankee Stadium did not factor into the decision but tossed six innings of two-run ball. And kept the Yankees offense off balance and threw the pitches where he needed to. He will look to do that today as well.
Most of our hearts go out to Bob Sheppard and his great legacy and it would be nice to get a win for him today. With that said, GAME ON!Comment
