OKAY!!! The only times he would really give a sh¡t about his homeruns is when it's in a situation like tonight's. Sure Bonds likes hitting homeruns, who wouldn't?

Oh sh¡t... I forgot to mention something since the beginning... uh... I KNOW THE GUY!!! Well, I've met him, and I've been in the Giants dugout, and if I saw him again he would know who I am, but anyways, he's not exactly a jerk... well... if you were him you would understand that he has more to life than extra. He's a really focused player, and that's a good thing on the field, and off the field people come to a conclusion that it's a bad thing, but they don't understand why.

Bonds catches a mistake in his performance every day. He has people help him... he has his own TV in the locker room to watch his swing over and over... I saw the TV... BIG!!! He is a really focused player that doesn't have time for little things, and yet he stays so patient with it... he never explodes out there, especially the 50 something times he should've been when skippers have given him 4 wide ones when he could've instead done what Pujols has gotten the chance to do all year... drive in runs.

You know what? I'm done on this thread too... I can't take these pros.

Fans still think he's the ultimate primadonna. His teammates can't stand him (Hmm...Kent?!).

You KNOW Bonds? Or are you just one of the lucky fans who got a "backstage pass" into his locker room and got the tour?

Please. I'm not here to start a flame war, I'm just here to point out that Barry Bonds is the _ultimate_ individualist in the game today. He doesn't care about TEAM. He cares about HIMSELF.

And if you ask me, he got what he deserved last year - a sheer taste of the World Series title...only to have Anaheim snatch it away.

Oh, and speaking of Anaheim - wasn't Bonds quoted by Skip Bayliss as wanting to possibly end his career IN Anaheim? Wow. Absolutely amazing.

First of all, my uncle's a pediatrician, so when I say what Creatine does, you better listen to me.

Second of all, Colin Sabean (the GM's son) is my lifelong friend... so I got to go to a game last year, in the dugout, etc. That's when I met Bonds... and teammates don't seem to have a problem with him... Kent didn't.

Second of all, Colin Sabean (the GM's son) is my lifelong friend... so I got to go to a game last year, in the dugout, etc. That's when I met Bonds... and teammates don't seem to have a problem with him... Kent didn't.
