Rivera can never retire. I don't know how I could stand 9th innings without him.

                  Mo is a baseball god.

It's great to see Jeter have hard contact in his ABs, hopefully it continues.

A-Rod looks good, and Teix has heated up, and Robbie has continued it from the regular season. I hope the offense can carry us this year rather than the pitching, because our pitching was amazing last year, and I'm not sure it can be that good again.

                    1-0!!!!

Announcers were terrible, but that's already been mentioned.

Maybe it's just how it came off TV, but that stadium sounded dead. What a difference from the Metrodome.

Good win, CC was not good, but you take them how you can get them.

On a side note, Twins can finally stop complaining about the Mauer call, that Golson/Guccione call was pitiful. Could have really costed the Yankees.

Please. While they blew the call, it wasn't obvious at full speed. That call gets blown many times during the regular season. The call on Mauer's double was atrocious.

It was very obvious at full speed.

It was a very bad call but the Mauer call last year was much worse.

Thank you, I didn't want to argue what was obvious.

1 down 10 to go. Girardi made all the right moves last night. Biggest move IMO was leaving Granderson in the lineup to face the lefty. Taking him out of the lineup would have been dumb. Especially since Granderson has been 1 of our better hitters down the stretch. BAM Grandy comes through.

Another classic Yankee playoff W. Playing with house money tonight with Andy on the mound.
