Morgan, Miller out as SNB announcers.

    There is a god.

ESPN ends its 20-year association with Jon Miller and Joe Morgan as the voices of “Sunday Night Baseball.”

I guess FJM's mission was finally achieved.

They tend to have better variety with the Wednesday games though. So that's something.

I can't believe the excitement you guys are expressing over this. I love listening to Miller & Morgan call games. Unlike many former players that commentate now, Morgan doesn't feel the need to brag about his achievements and how great he was as a player, and demean the current players (I'm looking at you Rick Sutcliffe & Ron Darling)

                  I'll miss both of them.

Finally can watch sunday night baseball without Joe draging down the broadcast.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Miller portion of Miller and Morgan. There are two big things that absolutely drove me nuts about Joe Morgan. The first is that he absolutely ripped sabermetrics without even coming close to understanding it. I don't think anyone who doesn't like sabermeterics is the devil, but I discredit someone who doesn't take the time to understand the basic ideas. The second thing I couldn't stand about him is the arrogance he often showed. He would make point after point when the stats or circumstances proved him wrong. Often he would justify it by just saying he was a ballplayer or it wasn't like that when I played.

Joe Morgan was atrocious. This is great.

SNB is watchable with the sound on now. Hooray!

I'll miss Miller as he has a great voice and can call a good game but really, Morgan was just flat out horrible. BTW he would ALWAYS sneak in some reference to back when he played the game which drove me crazy because baseball in the '70s was a completely different animal to what we have today.
