For the Giants I have the best crew of all time (and I mean it)... Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow, a.k.a. Kruk and Kuip. Jon Miller also broadcasts Giants games at times... like today was radio only, and he was play-by-play.

Re: Home Team Announcers
I havent heard every announcer, but Ive heard many people say Vin Scully is the best there is, and I'd believe it. I'm pretty sure he's the only announcer who calls the game by himself and its because nobody else is needed. He may stray off a bit but he knows so much about baseball and the players involved in the game its almost insane. He has so many great stories to tell and is truly one of a kind.Comment

HEAR HERE! I've seen a few games that Scully has called as well as a few games on ESPN Classic. The guy is truly the greatest.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Home Team Announcers
I grew up listening to Tim McCarver and Ralph Kiner call Met games. Kiner was terrible. McCarver would criticize what the Mets' were doing on the field, which was an interesting contrast to what the broadcasts from Chicago and Atlanta where the announcers root for the team. That to me was/is bush league. I could never get into watching TBS or whatever the cubs station is because of that. Unless it was Harry Carry because then it was just hilarious.
I also remember listening to Phil Rizzuto call yankee games. Now that was funny. The yanks were kind of a joke anyway in the mid to late 80s so it totally followed. "Holy cow, did you see that play Bobby Meacham made? Holy cow."Comment
